D.O.T. Recognized Sleep Apnea Diagnosis and Treatment

Once you have completed payment, you will be forwarded to our Obstuctive Sleep Apnea Evaluation page that collects your patient information and details about your sleeping habits and health. We will also email a link to the evaluation page with your receipt of payment.

I HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE: A few insurance companies cover the cost of home sleep testing. To file, a claim for the test, simply mail your receipt to your insurance company. Most health insurance companies cover sleep apnea treatment and will pay for your CPAP or APAP and supplies. AllTrans can process the treatment claim for you.

I WAS REFERRED BY MY PHYSICIAN: If you were referred by your physician, or from a D.O.T. recognized medical practice, such as Concentra, please choose your method of payment from above, and complete the payment/registration process. Details regarding your referral will be personally worked out between you and your AllTrans patient coordinator.

 

What to Expect After You Order

Once you have completed payment, you will be forwarded to our Obstuctive Sleep Apnea Evaluation page that collects your patient information and details about your sleeping habits and health. We will also email a link to the evaluation page with your receipt of payment. Our physician will review the information and within two business days, we will contact you to make arrangements for your Home Sleep Test to begin your diagnosis and treatment program.

                                                          

3-Step OSA Treatment Program Details

 

1. Home Sleep Test. After you complete the patient information and OSA Risk Evaluation, we will contact you to make arrangements to deliver the Home Sleep Test. You will use the home sleep test for one night, then ship it back to us.

 

2. Diagnosis. Our physician will evaluate the results. If you do NOT have OSA, we will send you a letter from our physician that states you are apnea free. If your test shows that you DO have OSA, you will continue to step 3.

 

3. Treatment. If you are diagnosed with OSA, our physician will write a prescription for a sleep therapy device from AllTrans Medical such as a CPAP, APAP, or BiPAP. The device aids in proper breathing while you sleep. We will calibrate your new device to the specifications prescribed and deliver it to you. We follow up with you to make sure your treatment is working well for you, and that you are remaining compliant with your physicians instructions. Sleep therapy devices are covered by most health insurance, and we will process your claim for you. If you do not have health insurance, cash-pay prices on sleep therapy devices for patients is typically $650 - $1400 depending on the device, mask, and supplies needed for your treatment.
